HIRING FOR IMMEDIATE START: GARDEN CENTRE MANAGER
We’re launching a brand-new garden and landscape supplies centre in Eltham —and we’re looking for an experienced Garden Centre Manager to lead the way.
This is a unique job opportunity to build a garden centre from the ground up, backed by over 15 years of experience through our established trade business, ID Landscaping. You’ll have the full support of our Managing Director and landscaping project team, giving you access to expert advice, industry insights, and trusted trade-tested products to help drive both retail and trade sales.
🌿About the role
As our Manager, you’ll be the go-to person for running daily operations, leading a small team, growing customer relationships, and shaping the store’s direction as we launch. From selecting stock to helping customers, you’ll have the freedom to make your mark—knowing you’re supported by a team that understands the industry inside-out.
✅ What We’re Looking For
5+ years managing a landscape supplies yard or garden centre
Proven sales results (retail + trade)
Great people skills – with staff, suppliers & customers
Experience with supplier accounts and trade relationships
Strong computer skills (especially Microsoft SharePoint)
Experience with online stores and POS systems
⭐ Desirable Criteria
Retail experience in landscaping or horticulture
Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a hands-on approach to leadership
📍 Location: Eltham, VIC 🕒 Full-time role 🚀 Start Date: We are looking to fill this position as soon as possible, with a start in July 2025 and opening to the public in September 2025.

HIRING NOW: TRUCK DRIVER
Location: Eltham VIC | Type: Full-Time | Start: July/August
ID Garden & Landscape Centre is on the lookout for a reliable Truck Driver to join our team!
Based in Eltham, you’ll be delivering soil, mulch, and other landscaping materials across Melbourne’s north-east. It’s local work, hands-on, and community-focused — no long-hauls, and you're home every night.
What You'll Need:
A valid MR or HR license
A machine operator ticket (front-end loader or similar)
A good attitude and willingness to pitch in around the yard
A focus on safety, service, and keeping things running smoothly
What You'll Do:
Deliver bulk garden and landscape supplies to residential and trade sites
Operate yard machinery and assist with order preparation including general yard duties as required
Keep your truck tidy, your paperwork in order, and your deliveries on time
Be part of a supportive, experienced team
Bonus points if you’ve worked in a garden/landscape yard before or know your way around Eltham and surrounds.
