Batman Park Kindergarten was a fun little project to be involved in!

This was a sensory garden full of different surface treatments with native and indigenous plants, some of which are even edible. The brief of this garden was to construct a sensory experience for children. Different surface materials change the experience of sight, sound and touch. Where the plants change the experience of smell, taste, touch and sight. Although if you listen carefully, the plants can make different noises in the wind. The different surfaces and materials will provide hours and entertainment with plants offering the softness and educational element. The plants all have little name tags so even parents and teaching staff can brush up on their botanical Latin!

We hope this playspace brings joy to many children for years to come!
