The garden was quite a big space but had lots of opportunities to create a beautiful space for this family. There was an existing undercover deck that steps down to the pool. Being on top of a hill, the picturesque views from the pool look out onto the local bushland canopy. Recycled railway timber and toppings stairs take you from the driveway up to the sawn bluestone paving. The steppers are set amongst a green carpet of dichondra leading to the pool. The lawn area sweeps around between two garden beds. A mostly native plant palette complements the existing native canopy and withstands the tough conditions of the north/west facing exposed position. Large Cycads provide structure and lushness under the ubiquitous Red Box eucalypts of the area.
