This garden was all about providing a lovely big space for the kids and dog to play. With a full design for both the front and back garden, the selection of materials and plants could flow throughout the whole space. From in the pool, there are views out to Port Phillip Bay so it really feels like you are swimming at the beach. An outdoor shower surrounded by planting completes the pool and deck area. A large pergola provides some shade in between dips in the pool and timber steps lead down to large bluestone steppers and a lawn area where the kids and dog can run and play. There is a combination of fruit trees and ornamental deciduous trees around the outskirt of the back garden intermixed with large screening shrubs. Understory planting are a mixture of native and exotic species with an emphasis on seasonal interest. The raised vegetable beds add the finishing touch to this lifestyle garden.
