Working with the City of Hume for over the course of a decade, this complex, multi-stage project is now finally hitting its stride. Dynamic collaboration between all parties (as well as patience) allowed us to transform this degraded, weed-ridden land adjacent to the Merri Creek, into a functional and biodiverse landscape.

Effective use of a mostly-indigenous plant palette, and light touch details with natural materials, provide rhythm, structure, and flow that soften and push the contrasting industrial estate into the background.

A functional stormwater diversion and filtering system through a large, vibrant rain garden, before it makes its way into the Merri Creek, adds significant biodiversity value to the project.

This project is illustrative of our ability to utilize resources from both the landscaping and environmental services divisions of the company when required.
