This park was damaged during the 2019/2020 Plenty Gorge fire in Bundoora where flames came within metres of homes. Our role in this project was to repair the damage to the playground, fences, bridge and garden beds. This was largely a horticultural exercise. Some of the mature trees suffered severe damaged and needed to be replaced whilst others were able to be hard pruned to regenerate themselves. Other works included an overall clean up with extensive planting and mulch top up to restore the park back to full use.
