Bundoora - VIC

The Hibiscus Park Playground Upgrade in Bundoora was delivered in partnership with the City of Whittlesea, transforming the local reserve at Carbeen Drive into a refreshed, modern play and community space. Located within a neighbourhood park that serves families and residents throughout Bundoora and surrounding suburbs, the upgrade replaced aging equipment and enhanced the park’s functionality, safety and amenity.

Our role included the supply and installation of new playground equipment, site furniture, surfacing and landscaping works, carefully integrated with the existing park environment. The renewed play space features a variety of contemporary play elements designed to engage children of different ages and abilities, encouraging active play, social interaction and imaginative exploration.

In addition to play equipment, the project incorporated park seating, accessible pathways, planting and soft landscape elements to improve comfort, usability and aesthetic appeal throughout the reserve. These works support casual recreation, community gathering and passive outdoor enjoyment for families and visitors.

Delivered with a focus on quality construction, safety and long-term durability, the Hibiscus Park Playground Upgrade now offers a vibrant and inviting outdoor space for the local community -  reinforcing the City of Whittlesea’s commitment to creating accessible, well-designed parks and open spaces for every age.
