See for yourself:

In 2019, a devastating bushfire swept through Worchester Park (also known as Linacre Park) in Bundoora, leaving the beloved suburban green space scorched and ecologically compromised. In partnership with the City of Whittlesea, ID Landscaping led a comprehensive restoration to revive the park’s biodiversity, functionality, and community value.
The project focused on removing invasive weeds that had overtaken the landscape post-fire, replanting over 8,500 native and indigenous species, and restoring key water-sensitive urban design (WSUD) features, including sediment ponds and raingardens. Fire-damaged Eucalyptus trees were carefully managed, with many retained as standing deadwood to provide vital habitat for birds, bats, and insects.
To enhance accessibility and encourage community connection, new lawn areas and park seating were installed. A community planting day drew nearly 100 local residents, fostering a sense of ownership and stewardship over the renewed parkland.
Today, this park is once again a thriving natural refuge. Native wildlife has returned, and the park now serves as a critical ecological corridor near Plenty Gorge. This project exemplifies our commitment to sustainable landscape restoration that benefits both people and the environment.
