ID Landscaping partners with Greenfleet to offset carbon emissions

We take our commitment to environment seriously at ID Landscaping and we are passionate about it's protection and regeneration. This is why we have partnered with Greenfleet, a leading not-for-profit environmental organisation and Australia's industry leader in biodiverse carbon offsets to take practical climate action.

"At Greenfleet, we are restoring native forests and growing climate hope thanks to the contributions of our amazing supporters, just like ID Landscaping," said Wayne Wescott, CEO of Greenfleet.

" Year after year, individuals and organisations help Greenfleet plant more biodiverse native forests to capture carbon emissions and it's their continuous support which makes a tangible and positive difference to the environment," added Mr Wescott.

As part of our journey toward net-zero carbon accreditation for all of our business operations and services, ID Landscaping offsets the carbon emissions of its company fleet through Greenfleet's native revegetation projects around Australia.

"By partnering with Greenfleet, we take a confident step toward our net-zero ambitions knowing that our climate action provides genuine and lasting environmental benefits," Liam Riley, managing director at ID Landscaping said.

"We are proud of the impact we're making. By offsetting our emissions with Greenfleet, we are taking practical action against climate change and helping to restore Australia's forests, recreate crucial habitat for our precious native wildlife and transform degraded land back into biodiverse natural systems."

This step is just one of raft of actions we are undertaking and we do so with the knowledge that it takes much more than offsetting emissions to be considered a sustainable and environmentally-friendly business. From measures at ground-level like using Durabar as an alternative to traditional steel reinforcement in concrete, to engaging a national energy and carbon management consultancy to undergo a through carbon footprint audit - we aim to identify, avoid, eliminate or offset emissions and other environmental harms from all of our activities.

Over the coming months, we will be announcing a number of other ways we will achieve our net-zero goals. It is part of ID Landscaping's pursuit to be a market leader in delivering low-impact landscapes and residential gardens that adhere to the triple-bottom-line sustainability framework and regulatory guidelines for carbon reporting.
